Director Bill Millerd says, “It has all the components of a timeless musical. Based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo this sweeping epic is set in a time of revolutionary change in Paris. Our production is blessed with an extraordinary cast of actor/singers, the largest cast ever assembled on the Stanley stage. Under the superb musical direction of Bruce Kellett, they will bring audiences a thrilling night to remember.”

The winner of 50 major theatre awards, including a Grammy for the Broadway cast album, Les Misérables has been translated into 21 languages, playing in 38 countries and 223 cities to a worldwide audience of more than 51 million.


Arts Club Theatre Company presents Les Misérables at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage (2750 Granville St., at 12th Ave.) from May 14 to July 19, 2009 (Previews: May 14–20; MEDIA OPENING: MAY 20).
