More than 70 million people around the world have experienced Disney’s The Lion King, and now you can, too, when Vancouver’s best-loved musical returns to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in June.

Back by popular demand, Disney’s The Lion King returns to Vancouver for the first time since 2010, when the production played to sold-out audiences. This four-week return engagement begins Thursday, June 18 and plays through Sunday, July 12.  Individual tickets for The Lion King will go on sale to the general public on Monday, February 23.

But we want to get you to head of the pride with this pre-sale opportunity. Visit Ticketmaster online between 10am on Friday, February 20 to 10pm on Sunday, February 22 and use the code word MUFASA to purchase tickets before anyone else.

The winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 1998, is based on the 1994 Disney animated film of the same name with music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, to tell its story of love and redemption with its unique combination of live actors and puppets.
