Vancouver Pride season officially begins with East Side Pride |

Vancouver officially begins its 2010 Pride season with East Side Pride at Grandview Park on Saturday, June 26th.
The main draw for the day is the entertainment stage that will see a variety of acts throughout the day all hosted by local drag darlings Conni Smudge and Jackie a Go-Go. Included in the entertainment line-up this year are DJ Riot and music from Bluelight, Kieran Strange, Liv Wade, Norine Braun and The Three Ahs plus a performance by Vancouver's only GLBTQ square dance club, Squares Across the Border. This annual event, traditionally held on the same weekend commemorating the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City, features community groups, artisans and businesses in what the Pride organizers have characterized as a "village of booths".
