It’s never too early to start thinking about the biggest event on Vancouver’s LGBTQ calendar. Mark your calendars as the 2012 Vancouver Pride Week begins July 30th and ends with the annual Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival on Sunday, August 5th.

As a lead up to the official week of festivities, a number of other Pride events are scheduled including East Side Pride (June 30), Gay Day @ Playland (July 14) and the annual Picnic in the Park (July 21) .

Pride weekend gets underway with the return of the Davie Street Dance Party on Friday, August 3rd and ends as thousands celebrate along Denman Street and Beach Avenue with the annual Pride Parade beginning at Noon on Sunday, August 5 and the Sunset Beach Pride Festival with a great line-up of performers, a beer garden and a myriad of booths offering up a diverse range of products and information.
