JODAIKO, the all-women Japanese Taiko drumming ensemble returns to Queer Arts Festival for a show on Friday, August 6th at 7:30pm.
The ensemble performs at a variety of women-centred events and strives to express the passion and strength of women through the art of Taiko. Formerly known as the Pride in Art Festival, the Queer Arts Festival (QAF) brings a diverse lineup of international and local talent from all disciplines to Vancouver audiences. The Festival runs through August 14th at the Roundhouse Community Centre. JODIAKO |
Comprised of artists from across North America, JODIAKO is led by Taiko master Tiffany Tamaribuchi, the first female World Taiko Champion.
