Vancouver Pride House officially opens with ceremony on February 11th |

Pride House Vancouver, the first ever Olympic House for the GLBTQ community, will open with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration on Thursday, February 11th beginning at 2pm.
Vancouver Pride House is being promoted as a place to meet up, to connect with friends, to get information and resources, to trade Olympic pins, to buy Pride House paraphernalia and a welcome centre for the GLBTQ community visiting Vancouver during the Olympics. Workshops are also being planned including discussions about homophobia in sport and increasing visibility of LGTB athletes. Score on Davie, the official celebration venue for Pride House Vancouver, will open February 12th. Score on Davie will feature Olympics on their televisions throughout the Olympic (12-28 February) and Paralympic (12-21 March) Winter Games. Vancouver Pride House will be open February 11-28 and again March 12-21 from 10am to 7pm at Qmunity located at 1170 Bute Street. |
