Rock of Ages may not know what it wants to be all the time but one thing is for certain: since it can’t pass itself off as a piece of theatre it should at least be all about the music. Unfortunately the current touring production rarely delivered on either front.

Back on the phone in under a minute, the irony that it had been two Mormons looking to spread their own brand of religion didn’t escape us as we chatted about his role in the Pacific Theatre production of 100 Saints You Should Know.

Theatre review: Grey Gardens will no doubt appeal to those already fascinated by its story

After watching the Fighting Chance Productions presentation of Grey Gardens last night I was tempted to make some joke about the inhabitants vying for their own episode of Hoarders.  But after spending most of my morning watching the 1975 documentary on which much of act two is based, I realised that sometimes you just can't make this stuff up.
