Following its successful run of Impro-vivor, a improvisational show built around the Survivor television franchise, Vancouver TheatreSports is set to skewer another popular reality television series with the Bacheloretta opening at the New Revue Stage on Granville Island, from October 1st to December 30th 2009.

BachelorettaBilled as "the most improvised rose ceremony ever", Bacheloretta will consist of a series of date challenges and rose ceremony eliminations in a way that only the Vancouver TheatreSports league can produce.  By the end of each show, and upon much reflection, the bacheloretta will determine which of her paramours has won her heart and her hand in marriage.

The Vancouver TheatreSports team promises that Bacheloretta will contain many of the elements that have made the television series so watchable including "a parade of hotties from the sensitive smitten kitten to the aggressive alpha-male, tear-riddled elimination rounds, verbal cat fights, group dates, one-on-ones, multiple make-out sessions, a mansion and, of course, roses".

Catch all the sordid details of Bacheloretta every Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm. Tickets Thursday are $6.50 & $8.50. Friday tickets are $13.00 and $17.00; Saturday tickets are $15.00 & $19.00.  Tickets are available at Ticketmaster by calling 604-280-4444 or online.  Group rates at Vancouver TheatreSports League 604-738-7013).
