Please
take a couple of moments to read the following information before
submitting your website or business (the submission form is found
at the bottom of this page).

Our
directory is NOT a free-for-all listing.
Our listings are for community groups, businesses and
services based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and the
Lower Mainland area.

We use the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD)
as our guide. The GVRD includes
the following municipalities: Anmore,
Belcarra, Bowen Island, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Langley City,
Langley Township, Lions Bay, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, North
Vancouver City, North Vancouver District, Pitt Meadows, Port
Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, West
Vancouver, and White Rock.
If your business, service or group do not have a verifiable
physical presence in one of these cities or towns you will not
be added to our directory.

Over the years we have been asked
to expand our service area. Unfortunately, our resources and our
desire to focus on Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, as stated
above, do not allow us to do this anymore. We hope you understand.

If your site does not fall within the geographic area we service
but you are still interested in targeting the Vancouver gay
market
please contact us for some great advertising rates. -
All submissions are manually
approved for inclusion in our database and we reserve the right to
reject any and all submissions.

We link to all websites in our directory
through a frame mechanism which allows us to track visitor
information. This frame is removable by the user and
clearly states that the user is outside a site controlled by
GayVancouver.Net. This frame may also contain additional
banner advertising.

We must be able to verify on
your site that you operate in Vancouver or Lower Mainland area.

We reserve the right to
edit any and all submissions for brevity, style, etc. Please
limit your description to 50 words or less as we will edit it for
you.

We
reserve the right to ultimately make the decision as to which
category your submission will appear under.

Each business,
community group or service may only appear once in our directory.
-
Some fields are optional but we encourage you to complete it in full. Your personal name and email address are
NOT visible in
the directory but used for administrative purposes only.

If you do not have a web site you can still list your
business. Just leave the "Website URL" field empty and
we will include a map link to your business (be sure to include
your address in your listing).

Please note that
due to privacy issues we
no longer list telephone numbers or email addresses in our listings.
You must have a website or physical business address (for a map link) for
us to add you to our directory.

Use
the "Business
or Website Description" field to include a description of
your business
and other information you would like to include in your
listing. We
reserve the right to edit or reject any and all submissions.
We will edit for brevity, consistency, style, etc.

Choose
the sub-category that best suits your business, service, community group
or resource listing. If you don't think you fit into the
currently listed categories leave the category selection as is and
tell us the name of the new category you think we should create.
We will review your submission to determine if a new category is
warranted.

you are already listed or wish to make changes to your current
listing please send an email to . Please be sure to include
your business/group name and which category you are currently
listed in.
