Vancouver's Gay Bars

One of Vancouver's top boutique lounge spaces, 1181 is "inclusive of everyone with an open mind".  Open seven nights a week this hotspot is the perfect atmosphere for cocktails before dinner or before the clubs.  A mixed crowd, 1181 is cool sophistication without the pretence.

Celebrities
A Vancouver institution since it re-opened in 2003, Celebrities is Vancouver's largest gay and lesbian nightclub but has become a hotspot for a very mixed crowd over the years.  The crowd comes for the great mix of local and international DJ talent and a bevy of special events throughout the week.

Lick Club
While thought of as Vancouver's only space for womyn, Lick is actually an all-inclusive nightclub/lounge.  The club is usually open Thursday through Saturday with a variety of special nights designed for fun.

Another Vancouver landmark, Numbers features a variety of DJs and events seven nights a week.  This multi-level space offers a little something for everyone and is also great place for cruising.

This high-energy dance club is probably the most consistent of Vancouver's gay nightclubs offering a variety of specialty events every night. The dance floor is rarely empty and is always ready to show a good time.

PumpJack Pub
PJs is a great place to meet friends in a casual pub atmosphere alongside the friendly leather men and bears that frequent it all week long.  Sunday afternoons at PJs is definitely the place to be but get there early as the line-ups can start early.

Vancouver's only gay sports bar, this bar come restaurant serves up a whole host of tasty food items in a friendly pub atmosphere.  Numerous televisions showing all the popular games make this a great place to catch your favourite sports with like-minded people.
