Lady GaGa solo tour to play QE on December 9th, 10th and 11th

After the sudden cancellation of the Fame Kills tour starring Kanye West and Lady GaGa, rumours have circulated about Lady GaGa doing her own solo tour. Live Nation announced yesterday that indeed a North American tour will happen with a stop in Vancouver on December 9th, 10th and a new show just added on December 11th at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Originally being designed for a 2010 premiere at O2 Arena in London, the tour, entitled The Monster Ball, will now begin on November 27 in Montreal, and will wind up on January 21, 2010 in Gaga’s hometown, New York City. Kid Cudi will be the supporting act for the entire tour.

Lady GaGa has described The Monster Ball as "a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever 'pop electro opera'.”

Lady Gaga will release a re-package of her album, The Fame, called The Fame Monster, earlier that week, on November 23. The re-package will include eight brand new songs, including the first single “Bad Romance.” In a challenge to fans, Lady GaGa says with the album coming out only four days before the first live show they will have exactly 96 hours to learn all the lyrics so they can sing along.

Tickets go on sale at LiveNation.com on Saturday, October 24th at 10am.
