The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra returns with one of its perennial favourites, A Traditional Christmas, starting December 10th.  As with previous years, the concert will feature carols, sing-a-longs, and selections from Handel’s Messiah, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, and other holiday favourites.

It has been said that music makes the movie and to help prove this to be true the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will present music from classic movies in its next VSO Pops show November 27th and 28th.

Matthew David has come a long way from his life in rural Saskatchewan as the son of a devout Baptist minister. On November 26th he will release his first CD whose first single, Masquerade, proclaims “This is me, here I am!” – the end of his own masquerade and a coming out to himself, his family and his fans.

Kaskade will play the Commodore in Vancouver for two nights in November.

After many months of anonymity from the spotlight and bustle of the music world, Maxime Morin, aka DJ Champion, has emerged from the shadows of his studio to present his highly anticipated new album Resistance and will play Venue in Vancouver on Saturday, November 7th.

After the sudden cancellation of the Fame Kills tour starring Kanye West and Lady GaGa, rumours have circulated about Lady GaGa doing her own solo tour. Live Nation announced yesterday that indeed a North American tour will happen with a stop in Vancouver on December 9th, 10th and a new show just added on December 11th at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Five-time Grammy nominee Michael Feinstein is set to play the the Orpheum Theatre for one-night only, Wednesday, October 21st with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra led by Bill Elliot.
