Music, cowboys (and girls) plus the start of the Vancouver Pride season are highlights in another exciting week here on the West Coast. Here are our gay choices for the week of 25 June - 1 July 2012.

Of course, you'll want to check our Events Calendar for details of all the latest happenings around the city. You can also get our daily events feed directly on your iGoogle homepage! Got an event? Send us the details and we'll get it added to our calendar (and maybe see it listed here in the coming weeks).

WEDNESDAY, 27 June: Pride Movie Night

Vancouver Pride 2012 is quickly approaching!  With just a month to go before the festivities get started, the Vancouver Pride Society hosts this monthly fundraiser at Denman Cinemas with $5 from every ticket sold going to help offset the costs of putting on our fabulous summer party (yes, I said FABULOUS)!  This month it is the 2008 biopic Milk starring Sean Penn as Harvey Milk, the American gay activist who fought for gay rights and became California's first openly gay elected official.  Visit http://vancouverpride.ca for more information.
