Monday, 23 April 2012

Other than the opera (and even that one we're not so sure about) this week is gay, gay, gay, every day. Celebrate the gayness with choices for the week of April 23 - 29, 2012.

Of course, you'll want to check our Events Calendar for details of all the latest happenings around the city. You can also get our daily events feed directly on your iGoogle homepage! Got an event? Send us the details and we'll get it added to our calendar (and maybe see it listed here in the coming weeks).

MONDAY, 23 April: Tops & Bottoms

The Bobbers continue to produce and perform their unique brand of queer comedy improv every week at the Oasis.  Go, find out who's going to be on top this week!  Or perhaps who is on the bottom if that is your sort of thing.  Visit the group's Facebook page for more information on this week's show.

AidaVancouver Opera may have found themselves in a little hot water when they were planning on using birds of prey in their opera but I guess we can all be thankful we don't have to worry about those tiny bird accidents as they fly over our heads.  Operas don't get much bigger and bolder than Verdi's  famous opera set in ancient Egypt.  Visit http://www.vancouveropera.ca for tickets and information.
