WEDNESDAY, 25 April: Pride Movie NightDenman Cinemas once again hosts the Vancouver Pride Society movie night, a fundraiser to help offset costs of putting on the Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival. $10 gets you in the door with $5 going to the Pride Society. This month is the 2005 Irish film Breakfast on Pluto that tells the story of Patrick "Kitten" Braden, who comes of age by leaving his Irish town for London, in part to look for his mother and in part because his trans-gender nature is beyond the town's understanding.
