WEDNESDAY, 16 May: 100 Saints You Should Know

With its queer storyline with Chris Lam in the role of Garrett, this biting and darkly humorous story of five souls attempting the simple task of living their lives and finding how un-simple that can be is getting a lot of critical buzz.  Visit http://pacifictheatre.org for tickets and information.

THURSDAY, 17 May: Day Against Homophobia Breakfast

International Day Against HomophobiaQMUNITY hosts its annual International Day Against Homophobia Breakfast at the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel.  This year's theme is Queering the Workplace: How LGTB inclusion is Good for Business. CBC journalist Kathryn Gretsinger will host and will feature keynotes from Kelly Worrall a producer at Electronic Arts and Jim Sinclair, President of the BC Federation of Labour.  Visit http://idah2012.eventbrite.com for tickets.

FRIDAY, 18 May: Magic Sparkle Party

With a name like Magic Sparkle Party you just know we'd be all over this one but more than just a fun name it is serious business as a fundraiser for the All Genders Wellness Center described as "a place for those who identify anywhere on the gender non-conforming spectrum to access respectful, and dignified holistic health care".  At the WISE Hall (1882 Adanac Street, Vancouver) with doors at 7pm. Sliding scale tickets are available at the door.

SATURDAY, 19 May: Not So Strictly Ballroom Dance Party

Not So Strictly Ballroom Dance PartyNot So Strictly Ballroom hosts its last dance of the season: Not So Strictly Swing ... and a Little Bit Country.  Vancouver's only same-sex ballroom and latin dance organization for the LGBT community and their friends focuses this month on West Coast Swing with a selection of country tunes for 2 stepping, country waltz and line dance.  Visit http://notsostrictlyballroom.ca for more information.

SUNDAY, 20 May: Hard! Leather Fetish Ball
