monday, 14 March: A Cultch Benefit With Ronnie Burkettt

Spend an evening with one of Canada's foremost gay theatre artists, Ronnie Burkett, as he offers a reading of his newest work Penny Plain, and an interactive Q&A with audience members in this fundraiser for The Cultch. Visit http://www.thecultch.com for more information..

Tuesday, 15 March: the house of yes

The House of YesVancouver's Point B Theatre is back with this underground hit which was turned into the 1987 movie starring Parker Posey.  Another black dysfunctional family comedy, watch as the Pascal family reunites at Thanksgiving.  The House of Yes runs at the Havana Theatre at 8pm from March 15-19, with a 2pm matinee on March 19. Wednesday, 16 March: Southern Belle Drag Competition

Celebrities is the place to be on Wednesday nights in March as Kamelle Toe hosts this drag show competition.  March 9, 16 & 23.  Showtime 11:30pm followed by Divalicious @ 12:30pm. With DJ Zach Shore. $3 cover with proceeds to benefit the DMS.

thursday, 17 March: jesus hopped the 'a' train

Jesus Hopped The A TrainGritty, real and thought-provoking and deserving of our five star review.  If you like theatre you must see this show.  This cast is superb. Two men sit in solitary confinement at New York's Rikers Island, 23 hours a day. Lucius Jenkins is a serial killer who awaits execution, Angel Cruz stands accused of a murder he doesn’t believe was a crime. One has found God, the other needs to find himself. friday, 18 March: sweet friday

saturday, 19 march: not so strictly ballroom dance party

Not So Strictly BallroomJoin in the fun with Vancouver's same-sex ballroom and latin dance organization for the LGBT community and their friends.  Their DJ and instructor will be playing great ballroom Latin and popular music will teach an introductory lesson in the Cha Cha.
