Meet the contestants: 69 seconds with Rory

Our 69 second interviews are normally found elsewhere on the site but over the next few weeks, leading up to this year's finale on April 23, we will feature 69 seconds with all of the 2011 Gay Top Model contestants. We start off this special 69 seconds series with Rory.

Born in Vancouver on June 9, 1991, Rory's roots are Cambodian. He describes Vancouver as "diverse, beautiful and definitely the place to be". His favourite quote comes from the television series Nip/Tuck: "beauty is a curse on the world, it keeps us from seeing who the real monsters are".

As a child my dream job was to become a Nurse and it is still to this day.

My mother. She has always been the one to keep me grounded & level headed.

I wear a purity ring and have made a vow to stay a virgin till marriage.

It would have to be food, I probably spend most of the day eating or thinking about it.
