The longest running American musical in Broadway history, A Chorus Line is the story of 17 dancers vying for one of only eight parts in a new Broadway musical. As part of the audition, the director wants more than just their resume and one-by-one the dancers come forward and share the stories of their lives. And when they’re done, so is the audition. And the final chorus line of eight dancers is chosen.
