High school confidential: no hall pass required for this Out in Schools fundraiser

Back to school at Homo High means showtime for Vancouver's best drag and burlesque performers who will turn up the heat at High School Confidential, a fundraiser for Out In Schools set for the WISE Hall on Saturday, September 26th.

High School ConfidentialThe show will feature performances by a number of local performers, including Ivan E. Coyote, VaVa Vunderbust, Isolde N. Barron, Teddy Smooth, and Crystal Precious, and music by DJ Faux Pas.  In addition to the performances, attendees will be able to do a stint in detention, buy treats at the bake sale and, of course, stay around for the school dance that follows.

All proceeds from High School Confidential will go to the Out In Schools program, which smashes stereotypes by bringing queer film to local high schools and facilitating discussions on bullying and homophobia.

Tickets are $15 each and available in advance at http://outinschools.com.  19+ event.  ID required.
