In an effort to raise awareness of prostate cancer, GayVancouver.Net (Gay Vancouver Online) owner, Mark Robins, grew his moustache from November 1st through 30th as part of the Movember fundraiser capturing it in a series of daily photographs and raising over $300 for Prostate Cancer Canada. Daily PhotosFundraisingMovember, the month formerly known as November, is designed to help raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer Total raised: $325. Thank you!"When you realize that prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer among Canadian men it is not hard to imagine that myself or someone close to me might develop it", said Mark Robins, owner of GayVancouver.Net (Gay Vancouver Online). "Fortunately that isn't the case right now but before it does touch my life, I am behind the work of Prostate Cancer Canada in eliminating prostate cancer in our country". |
