Terry Costa, the man behind Vancouver's Next Gay Top Model and Hot Gay DJ, presents his latest project Artists for Life, a fundraising showcase of actors, dancers and singers in support of AIDS Vancouver and Friends for Life.
"Mirateca Arts continues to work with Friends for Life Society by making donations to the organization," said Costa, "And this time we have added AIDS Vancouver who are trying to bring back the red ribbon to the forefront of their marketing. This way we help the organization promote the red ribbon campaign and raise a few dollars". Not only an opportunity to perform before a live audience and raise much needed funds for the two charities, Costa also said the shows will provide local producers and directors with an opportunity to see a variety of talent on a single stage, in a single evening, showcasing their best material. "We do it in a fun, social environment at the J Lounge, where people are free to have a drink or dinner if they wish." While the performance line-ups are starting to come together, Costa says there is still space available for anyone that might like to perform.
