CAAWS looking for input from LBTT women aged 55 to 70

The Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) has put out a call for older self-identified lesbians, bi-sexual and two-spirited women, aged 55 to 70, to be part of a conversation with a group of 6 to 10 other LBTT women about being physically active.

Suits poz working men's dinner group celebrates anniversary

Started in January 2009, the Suits Poz Working Men's Dinner Group began in response to a need for a support program for HIV-positive working men. The program, run by and for gay poz working guys, is part of the British Columbia Persons With AIDS Society's Wellness Promotion Programs.  The group will celebrate it's one-year anniversary with a special dinner on January 25th, 2010.

GLBA LOUD scholarship applications now being accepted

With a total of $9,000 available, Canadian students attending BC post-secondary educational institutions have until January 31, 2010 to apply for the one of five scholarships being offered by the Gay and Lesbian Business Association of BC (GLBA) and Little Sister's.
