Founded on December 1st, 2009 marking the 21st annual World AIDS Day, Project Flaming Heart announced that it will build an addictions treatment centre for the glbt+ community in Canada based in the Metro Vancouver area.

GLBA LOUD scholarship applications now being accepted

With a total of $9,000 available, Canadian students attending BC post-secondary educational institutions have until January 31, 2010 to apply for the one of five scholarships being offered by the Gay and Lesbian Business Association of BC (GLBA) and Little Sister's.

Bobbers to raise funds for charity with testosterone driven show

Only a few weeks into their return to the Jupiter Cafe with their weekly Tops and Bottoms show, The Bobbers, Canada's only queer comedy improv group, have set their eyes on some beefcake as they raise funds for A Loving Spoonful during their November 30th show.

Website owner to document 'stache growth

In an effort to raise awareness of prostate cancer, GayVancouver.Net (Gay Vancouver Online) owner, Mark Robins, grew his moustache from November 1st through 30th as part of the Movember fundraiser capturing it in a series of daily photographs and raising over $300 for Prostate Cancer Canada.
