That’s how much it costs to keep QMUNITY, British Columbia's queer resource centre, open and providing vital services and programs to queer communities and individuals throughout the province each day.  Through its Give A Damn, Give A Day you can now make a direct impact on QMUNITY's daily operations.

Despite all of the attention it has received lately, bullying still remains a problem. One organization that is making a difference is the Q Foundation through its scholarship fund, recognizing the contributions made by students who have participated in addressing discrimination in school, in sport, or in life.

Is the world ready for a gay superhero?  We're about to find out as online Vancouver t-shirt and baseball cap retailer MOGO Wear hosts a coming out party of sorts for MOGOMaxx, their superhero spokesperson and gay rights advocate, in support of Out In Schools and the LOUD Foundation.

Out In Schools, in conjunction with the Vancouver School Board, is encouraging students across British Columbia to create a 30-second public service announcement that will inspire others to accept, respect, value and celebrate queer people.

Dining Out For Life returns Thursday, March 24 in support of A Loving Spoonful and Friends For Life.

In light of the recent and alarmingly numerous homophobic bullying-related suicides in North America, members of the Vancouver fashion industry are hoping to bring local awareness and a show of solidarity by holding a runway show and fundraiser for Out in Schools.

For Coquitlam native Calan Breckon the idea that you can’t go home again is simply not true.  Not only is he going home, he has also setting out to make a difference in his hometown with The Diversity Project, a documentary which follows the creation of a Gay-Straight Alliance / Diversity Club (GSA/DC) at his old high school.
