Qmunity knows raising $15,000 in 15 days is no small task, but through the generosity of people like you, they are confident they can meet that goal!

With a total of $9,000 available, Canadian students attending BC post-secondary educational institutions have until January 31, 2010 to apply for the one of five scholarships being offered by the Gay and Lesbian Business Association of BC (GLBA) and Little Sister's.

Only a few weeks into their return to the Jupiter Cafe with their weekly Tops and Bottoms show, The Bobbers, Canada's only queer comedy improv group, have set their eyes on some beefcake as they raise funds for A Loving Spoonful during their November 30th show.

In an effort to raise awareness of prostate cancer, GayVancouver.Net (Gay Vancouver Online) owner, Mark Robins, grew his moustache from November 1st through 30th as part of the Movember fundraiser capturing it in a series of daily photographs and raising over $300 for Prostate Cancer Canada.

On October 4th, 2009 the The Rhinestone Phoenix Charity Foundation crowned the new Mr and Ms Gay Vancouver, Aedan Saint and Celestial Seasons.  In our second interview with the new monarchs, we talk with Celestial Seasonings about her background and her take on the pageant.

On October 4th the new Mr and Ms Gay Vancouver, Aedan Saint and Celestial Seasons, were crowned in a ceremony by the outgoing monarchs.  In a couple of their first official interviews, Aedan and Celeste talked to us about the pageant, themselves and what is in store for them over the next year.  First up is our interview with Aedan (we will feature our interview with Celeste next week).

Mr & Ms Gay Vancouver XXIX, Brent WildeFyre & Jackie A Go-Go oversaw the passing their crowns last night as Aedan Saint and Celestial Seasons became this year's Mr & Ms Gay Vancouver last night in the pearl anniversary of the pageant.

Tops and Bottoms - the stage show that launched a television show - returns to its roots with performances every Monday night at the Jupiter Cafe beginning October 5th, 2009.

Back to school at Homo High means showtime for Vancouver's best drag and burlesque performers who will turn up the heat at High School Confidential, a fundraiser for Out In Schools set for the WISE Hall on Saturday, September 26th.
