Sure they put on a fabulous Film Festival each year (the 2010 Vancouver Queer Film Festival takes place August 12-22) but did you know they are actually a year-round, multi-faceted queer arts organization that also includes Out in Schools and the Queer History Project?

Celebrating the best in queer cinema the Vancouver Queer Film Festival is Vancouver's second largest film festival and the largest queer arts event in Western Canada. Out in Schools

Bringing queer films to BC schools, this youth education out-reach program helps to initiate discussions with students about school safety, homophobia and bullying. Visit http://www.outinschools.com for more information.

Queer History Project
