The multi-award winning Canadian movie I Killed My Mother (J’ai Tue Ma Mere) and critically acclaimed Prodigal Sons are set to play the Vancity Theatre beginning Wednesday, March 10th.

As the official launch of its new company and the announcement of its 2010-2011 subscription series, Ballet BC returns to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on April 15th through April 17th with the aptly named Re/Naissance.

Part of the 16th Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois et francophone de Vancouver (French Film Festival), Je te mangerais (You Will Be Mine) plays the Festival on March 3rd at 9:15pm.

 

Local gay choreographer to perform with company in Shanghai

Led by 22 year old gay Artistic Director Josh Beamish, Vancouver contemporary dance company MOVE: the company has been selected to perform at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China.
