Spend 69 seconds with director and actor Kevin Bennett who directs The Honest Fishmongers Equity Co-op production of Hamlet on stage at the Havana Theatre through December 11, 2010.

Singing a crude radio Christmas jingle called "Where is my Bike" for a Radio Station in Chicago, where I made interesting remarks about Santa and his wife... First "regular" job was serving burgers at an ice rink in Delta.

02The job you wanted as a child.
To be an actor/director.

03What's getting the most play in your iPod right now?
Regina Specktor-Prisoners, and a bunch of her songs.

04Favourite stage play of all times.
Modern: The Goat, or Who is Sylvia by Edward Albee. Classic: King Lear.

05Your biggest indulgence.
Pizza. Late at night with lots of ranch dip!

06The three things you would want with you on a deserted island.
Complete Works of Shakespeare, sunglasses, & my mini moleskin journal (with a pen!)

07Complete this sentence: on Friday nights...
I am probably having a couple drinks at Original Joes with friends.

MEET kevin Bennett

Kevin Bennett Kevin is a graduate of the professional theatre-training program, Studio 58, at Langara College, where he focused on directing.

Since graduation he has worked with companies such as The Only Animal, Theatre Replacement, Theatre Terrific and was assistant director of Much Ado About Nothing for Bard on the Beach with Dean Paul Gibson as director. Kevin is currently directing and acting in Hamlet with The Honest Fishmongers Equity Co-op production of Hamlet.

Kevin also founded his own theatre company Limbo Circus Theatre two years ago and has since directed the collective creation Pet Stories and Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
