With the 22nd Annual Vancouver Queer Film Festival set to get underway on August 12th, we thought it was time for our annual guide to the Festival. Of course, with 90 films to see in eleven days, it's simply not possible to take in all the films and festivities. Here is the list of films and parties we're not going miss this year.
Tickets
Festival Passes and individual advance screening tickets are available online or at Little Sisters (1238 Davie Street). Tickets will also be available for purchase at all Festival theatres, with the exception of the gala films through self-serve kiosks. For all the ticketing details visit the Vancouver Queer Film Festival website.
Movie Venues
Festival movies are held at four venues:
- Cinemark Tinseltown, 88 West Pender Street
- Empire Granville 7 Cinemas, 855 Georgia Street
- Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Granville Island
- Vancity Theatre, 1181 Seymour Street
