The Vancouver Queer Film Festival celebrates Vancouver’s young queer and allied artists, visionaries and leaders at its 3rd annual Festival Youth Gala on Friday, August 13th at the Roundhouse Community Centre.
Next, there is time for everyone to shine at the open-mic cabaret where guests are encouraged to bring their poems, your drag costume, or any short live act to to share. The party concludes with dance tunes by DJ Jef Leppard. This free event is open to those 25 and under.

The evening begins
at 8pm with a guided tour of the Queer Arts Festival exhibition - a visual art show that features work by local and international queer artists. The creativity continues with the premiere screening of the 2010 NO HATE youth films, films created in collaboration with Reel Youth at Camp OUT and this year’s PSA competition winners (see video below).
